Next to Half Dome and Glacier Point, Liberty Cap is the most recognizable feature in the eastern part of Yosemite Valley. This image was taken from a cliff between Clark Point and the top of Nevada Falls. The top step of the Giant's Stairway (Vernal Falls makes up the lower step), Nevada Falls marks the gateway to the Little Yosemite Valley and the high country.
